It was a beautiful spring day. Brad and Mary Spencer stood looking at their recently purchased home at 1932 Oak Street. Even though they’ve been marrie for almost three years, they felt like newlyweds. “Are you sure we did the right thing?” Mary Asked.
“Sure I’m sure,” Brad replied, “I’ll admit this house needs a little work, but the way property values are going up in this area, we’ll double our purchase price in five years!”
Mary countered with, “I don’t know. There is more to do than just a little work. The windows are cracked, the roof leaks, the paint is almost non-existent, and that’s just the outside.”

K-9 Explosives Search Team call number 126 was waiting at the
perimeter of Copley Square in Boston for the go-ahead to search.
About one hundred yards away was K-9 EST 134, waiting for the
same order. It was 9 p.m. It took almost forty-five minutes to clear out
the early birds and secure the five-block radius around the square.
Thanks to the EWS about ninety-five percent of the hotel patrons
were notified, and were holed up in their rooms. Guards had been
posted in the hotel lobbies to stop anyone not informed of the situation
from walking out into the streets.

The three of them took cover behind some metal desks as a hail of
bullets from five suppressed automatic weapons whistled all around
them. There was a shower of glass and paper debris from computer
screens and stacks of papers on the desks.
